Each week I’ll be hosting a LIVE workout or a Q+A Coaching Call where we’ll have the opportunity to connect on a deeper level outside of the app!! These sessions are a great way to get a little ‘extra help’ if you need it or you just want to say hi!

Kickstart For Me 

This program was a kickstart for me after not working out for some time. THANK YOU for the incentive/program. That said, the length of this program (8 weeks) was an incentive. You provided enough options to each exercise and additional videos that I am starting the 8 weeks again. Then, I’ll see what’s next!

30-40 Minutes is Perfect!

Most days 30-40 minutes is perfect but on days when I had more time I often added on a metcon or did some yoga on my own. I like the way that your program is set up because I can adjust it to the amount of time I have available. On tired days or when I was struggling, the 30-35 min was great because it always seemed doable and not overwhelming.

I Love This Program. 

I especially liked all of the instructions you give during the videos, such as the advice about ways to modify the exercises. I also love the 30-35 minutes in length, which is great for my schedule. On weeks that are so hectic at work, I love that I can also do the core or metcon video and know I got a great workout.

  • What equipment do I need?
    Ideally, you'll have two or three sets of dumbbells ranging from 5 to 8 pounds up to 20 to 25 pounds, depending on your fitness level. Additionally, traditional weight training equipment, a bench, stability ball, and mini bands are utilized. Modifications are given in many cases, however click here if you would like links to suggested equipment.
  • What format do the workouts come in?
    Workouts are stored in the app and programmed in four-week cycles. Each workout includes step-by-step instructions and a space to track your sets, reps, and weights. VIP members also receive full-length follow-along guided videos for a more immersive experience.
  • How long will I have access to these workouts?
    Access to the workouts is provided on a monthly basis. As long as your membership remains active, you'll have uninterrupted access, with billing handled monthly through the app.
  • Can I modify and work around injuries?
    Alternatives are provided for various exercises to accommodate injuries. However, if your injuries significantly limit basic movements like squats, lunges, and push-ups, the program may be challenging. Coaching calls can offer personalized guidance.
  • Is it possible to join later in the summer?
    Currently, enrollment is limited to alumni of my Straight Up Strength programs and recent fitness challenge participants. The next enrollment window will not be until September 2024
  • How many workouts are included in each cycle and how long are they?
    Each week, you'll receive four full-length strength training workouts, averaging 35 to 40 minutes. Additionally, shorter core, flexibility, and HIIT workouts are provided as add-ons, ranging from 10 to 20 minutes.
  • I've been a part of several of your programs. Will those be available in the app?
    No, you'll still access your other programs on the website
  • Can I retain my access to STRAIGHT UP STRENGTH 5.0 in the app?
    If you registered for 5.0 you will retain access to the program within the app for as long as your continuity membership remains active, regardless of whether you are a basic or VIP member.
  • Will there be a Straight Up Strength 6.0, and if so when?
    The next Straight Up Strength 8 week program is tentatively scheduled for September 22, 2024. By selecting the VIP option, you'll automatically be enrolled in Straight Up Strength 6.0 when the new cohort begins. Keep in mind, Straight Up Strength offers enhanced coaching and additional features beyond the monthly continuity…. By opting for the continuity VIP option now, your access to 6.0 will be included in your membership. As well as all future Straight Up Strength Programs, for as long as you remain a VIP Member.
  • Is the continuity VIP or BASIC good for beginners?
    This program is not a beginner program. It's assumed that you have some experience with strength training. If you are new to training in this capacity, check out the STRONGER U Basics program HERE. Feel free to us for guidance on the best fit for you.
  • What if I can't do four workouts per week?
    Consistency is key, but the workouts in the program allow for a level of flexibility. For best results, aim for at least three workouts per week adjusting as needed for busy weeks or unpredictable schedules.
  • What if I'm doing another program or app?
    Consider your current fitness level and listen to your body. Overtraining may hinder results, so focus on quality over quantity. Choose the program that aligns best with your goals and recovery needs.
  • Do the workouts include full length videos?
    The workouts in the BASIC STRENGTH Series include demo videos or cues for each exercise. STRAIGHT UP VIP members gain access to full-length follow-along guided videos in addition to the features offered in the app and the added coaching support with messenger access and LIVE monthly events.
  • What if I'm over 60? Can I still do this program?
    Can I still join? Yes absolutely!! The program is suitable for all adult women…(my clients range in age from mid 40’s to 70 + years old. As long as you have a good fitness level and no significant injuries, you're welcome to participate!!
  • What's your refund policy?
    If you decide within the first seven days of joining that this isn't suitable for you, simply reach out for a refund of the first month's fee. Membership is month-to-month, allowing you to cancel anytime without further charges. NO long term commitment necessary. If you cancel beyond the initial seven days you will not be given any prorated refund. You will maintain access to the app until the end of that billing cycle and then your access will be removed on the day that in which you would have normally been charged.
  • What if I want to do all LIVE workouts?
    I teach live 3x per week and each workout is 60 minutes. If you have questions about that option please click here to book a LIVE class.
  • Do I have to join FB?
    Facebook is not a requirement of the program however it's a great way to connect with other women in my community outside of the app.
  • Upgrade Policy for VIP and BASIC
    To ensure a smooth transition between Basic and VIP memberships, we have established the following guidelines, especially around the time of the STRAIGHT UP STRENGTH 8 week coaching program. Upgrades from Basic to VIP are not allowed within 45 days prior to any STRAIGHT UP STRENGTH event. Downgrade Restrictions: After becoming a VIP member, you cannot downgrade to Basic for at least 45 days after the completion of STRAIGHT UP STRENGTH. If you cancel your membership prior to the start of STRAIGHT UP STRENGTH you will have the option to register separately for the program when registration opens in September. For assistance with your membership, please contact our support team. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
